SUPPORTING FAMILIES, CHILDREN, AND COMMUNITIES

Queens Childcare Network (QCCN) proudly provides an array of services to empower parents and elevate communities. Our scope of care includes but is not limited to:

  • CHILDCARE PROVIDER SUPPORT: QCCN affiliates with licensed family-based childcare providers seeking professional development, technical assistance, resources, and connections that strengthen their program quality and sustainability.
  • CHILDCARE SUBSIDY ACCESS: Our team helps families with the application process, explaining the eligibility criteria for each program, and required documentation to access affordable childcare.
  • CACFP SPONSOR: QCCN helps our childcare programs access federal nutrition funding, ensuring healthy meals and snacks are served, along with receiving provider training, monitoring, and reimbursement assistance.
  • WIC AWARENESS: As part of the WIC CIAO Project, QCCN assists eligible pregnant and postpartum parents to enroll in the Women, Infants, and Children (WIC) program so they can maximize the nutritional benefits available to them.
  • SOCIAL CARE NAVIGATION: In partnership with Public Health Solutions WholeYouNYC, QCCN helps ensure Medicaid members receive effective referrals for medical care, nutrition, mental health, transportation, or housing assistance.
  • CHILD WELLNESS INITIATIVE: QCCN creates customized Developmental Support Plans for young children with concerns in behavior, communication, social-emotional skills, or physical development.
  • PROMOTING INTERACTIVE TALK: In partnership with LENA Grow, QCCN is strengthening language development through data-driven childcare provider coaching and enriched child engagement.
  • COMMUNITY OUTREACH: As part of the NYC Child Care Outreach & Enrollment initiative, QCCN connects families in underserved communities to affordable, high-quality childcare through targeted outreach, education, and hands-on assistance.

What is Family-Based Child Care?

Family-Based Childcare

QCCN’s diverse network of licensed “group and family-group” providers offer early childhood education services in the comfort of a home-based setting, to children from 6 weeks to age 3.

Quality

In addition to QCCN’s oversight, our family-based childcare programs are regulated by the State’s Office of Children and Family Services (OCFS) and licensed by NYC Department of Health.

Stability

QCCN provides practical assistance to stabilize working families and small business owners in the family-based childcare community.

Community

QCCN focuses exclusively on serving parents and child care providers in Queens. We are dedicated to helping Queens parents access affordable child care and strengthening our growing network of family-based childcare.
